Handarbeni’s main areas of practice involve litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in practicing litigation and has handled disputes in international and domestic arbitration as well as negotiation in dispute resolution processes.

Handarbeni has handled cases in relation to commercial, corruption, criminal, administrative, bankruptcy, land, environment, aviation, plantation and civil law.

Handarbeni also advises on corporate and commercial matters and has been involved in legal due diligence for legal compliance.

Handarbeni’s experience includes representation of individuals in corruption cases, representation of individuals in an illegal plantation case that became one of the largest national issues in 2014, representation of an oil company in civil cases and representation of companies in licensing issues of plant construction that were highlighted by WALHI in 2015
